Kiks & Learn is operated by Kiks to provide free learning and progress tracking. This policy explains the information used by this platform.
Information we use
Our authentication provider (Supabase) manages account email addresses, session tokens, verification codes and, when you choose Google sign-in, Google sign-in profile details. Kiks & Learn stores your account identifier, enrollments, lesson completion, best quiz scores, accumulated active study time, comments, likes and recorded shares. Optional profile fields are name, age band and country. Article images uploaded by the owner are stored in Supabase Storage and published as public images with their articles. We do not request exact location, a birth date or biometric data.
Purposes and access
We use this information to operate accounts, save progress, show learning recommendations and preparation milestones, prevent abuse and understand learner engagement. The owner can see learner progress and voluntarily supplied demographic fields. Comments are public; do not post confidential information. We do not sell learner profile data.
Service providers and advertising
Vercel hosts the app, Supabase hosts the database and delivers login emails. Google Tag Manager and Google AdSense load on site pages; information sent by measurement and advertising tags depends on the tags configured by the publisher. Google and advertising partners may use cookies or identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalization where valid consent is obtained. Google Fonts receives network requests for typefaces. Loading an embedded YouTube video contacts YouTube. External learning sites apply their own policies. Providers may process information outside your country.
Your choices and requests
You may leave demographic fields blank. Use available Google advertising privacy controls to manage ad personalization. To request access, correction, export or deletion, use the privacy request form on this page while signed in. We retain learning records while your account is active unless deletion is requested; provider security logs follow provider retention rules. Essential service records may be retained where necessary for security or legal obligations.
Advertising controls
Manage Google ad personalization at https://myadcenter.google.com/ and review Google's partner-site practices at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Some third-party vendors may also use cookies. Browser settings can remove cookies, but removing essential cookies signs you out.
Children and updates
This platform is intended for adult learners and career switchers. If a child has supplied personal information without appropriate consent, contact us through the request form so we can address it. We update this policy when practices change and publish the effective date here.
